Is this... Dukan Chocolate cake?! I found it tasted really good, was filling and destroyed my sweet-craving. Prawn found it kindof bitter. I really didn't measure, just kindof eyeballed the recipe. You want it to be the same consistency as a brownie batter or a cake batter... Here is the recipe:
So you are going to want to take:
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (which is every kind of cocoa powder really...)
and mix it with
8 packets of sweet n low
Then take 1 cup of egg whites and mix it all together. I took two big spoonfulls of almond butter and mixed it with the eggs, you really have to fork it through for a while since the almond butter is usually pretty thick.
Now why do I use almond butter? Because on phase 3 you are allowed low-fat spread on your two slices of bread and I do not use any, so I allow myself almond butter in my oat bran gallette, since I didn't have one today I thought I would put it in my "cake". Anyways.
Spray a baking dish with pam (lightly) and put the cake in, for 15 minutes at 350.
I took it out at 13 minutes and spread 1 tbsp of PB2 on, then popped it back in for 2 minutes. Cut it into quarters and ate warm, and OMG! Really delicious. Like a brownie. It's really hard to believe it's not cheating and eating some decadent dark chocolate or something. Yum.
PB2 is powdered peanut butter. They extract the fat and powder the peanuts, 85% less fat than peanut butter, you mix it with water and I find it tastes exactly the same as the real stuff. Organic, really good. You can order it online but I found it at the Nutrition House.
Enjoy! Let me know if you try it and make any alterations. You might want to add more sweetner since as Prawn pointed out, it's a teensy bit bitter. I liked it though, a lot.
